We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wool Inn. The apartment was huge, very clean and well appointed. Large enough for two couples or a family of four to comfortably stay. Walking distance to everything in Elkin. A great spot to stay if you’re going to a wedding or event at Coley Hall events center. We will definitely be back to further explore the area.

We had a lovely stay at the Wool-Inn for a recent mother-daughter trip. The unit was spacious and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Our hosts were so kind, helpful, and gracious! We felt very welcome! The location was very convenient to all the fun things Elkin has to offer. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit!

We loved our stay in Elkin in your suite. The renovations in the old historic building were so well done- we liked seeing all the old walls that were kept.

The property was beautiful and very clean. Also the large open space was amazing. We had friends staying at other properties in Elkin that were jealous of the Blue Ridge suite and plan to stay there on future visits to the area.

Wonderful blend of luxury and modern convenience in an historic setting, and so conveniently located. Our suite was charming, fully stocked and comfortable. Checkin was flawless and your hospitality was greatly appreciated- as were the delicious breakfast muffins! Thanks for a great stay!

Exceeded my expectations all around! The suite was amazing!!! New, spacious and luxurious while maintaining the historic charm and character of the building. Family owned business above their retail store in the heart of downtown Elkin making it a very walkable location.
We met the owner, Gunnar, who told us the history of the building and explained the thought that when into constructing the suites. Since we checked in during retail store hours we met Patti, the inn keeper, who made the check in process quick and easy. They were both so nice and accommodating.
Our stay was great and I can’t stop raving about it. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in downtown Elkin!

The place is incredible! Spacious. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is perfect, walk to everything Elkin has to offer. Plus the homemade muffins were a great way to start the day.

Wool Inn is a magical place to stay in the picturesque blue ridge mountains. The suites are modern but retro and make you feel like you are in an upscale suite found in larger metro areas like Chicago or New York. You can walk to local eateries like angry troll brewing, milk and honey coffee, Royall’s Bbq and Grill, and many other great options. Check out the Wool Inn and feel like you’re in the middle of the action without all the stress of other establishments. #staywooly
